HISTORY
Handi-Wheels began its service in January of 1975 after the residents at New Horizons Manor were successful in raising the funds needed for a wheelchair accessible van. The source of the funds for the van was created through their collective efforts to gather and redeem Betty Crocker coupons. Today, Handi-Wheels' fleet consists of 3 wheelchair accessible vehicles and one mini van providing service to residents within the city limits of Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead. In 2010, Handi-Wheels provided 15,000 rides to people in need.
